Use "start ---> configuration ---> software" to remove the game and re-install it afterwards again.

Different programs can use common files and when one program has not been used for a long time, and another program that shared a file has also been deleted, the common file may have been deleted also.

On all computers I ever have set-up, I created several partitions, one of which is specially used for software storage. Every program that is installed (except XP) is stored there, so it is easy to re-install it. Otherwise use the original software CD or get a copy from the Internet.
Of course you can store software also on any other partition, even on the main partition.
