| | | GTA San Andreas plays in slow motion Hi
I have played GTA VC before I started the SA game. But it lokes like SA is playing so slow. Like it is in slow motion!
Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?
It now looks like I am playing in slow motion.I have set the resolution to 800x600, turned off anti aliasing and the draw distance set to minimum. | | | | | | |

| Hey, good game, huh?
Vice city and San Andreas are different in the way they were programmed and designed (especially since San Andreas is on DVD).
It would be helpful to list more info about your computer:
Operating System (Windows XP, Windows ME)
Processor Speed (Pentium 2.1GHZ, AMD Athlon)
Memory
Video Card
Anything else you feel would be useful
Thanks! |

| Hello,
It seems that you should have plenty of power to play the game. You could go to the Rockstar Games website and make sure there are no known conflicts with your video card.
Also, be sure to scan for adware and spyware and other running programs that may be bogging down your computer. If you need help with that, just ask.
Otherwise, personally I am not knowledgable enough to be able to think of anything beyond that without actually looking at the computer, but perhaps some of the other experts here can help, too.
I wish you luck! |

| Also go to Rockstar Games' website and download any available updates for San Andreas - that might provide better drivers for your video card, therefore making it run correctly. |

| Do you know what your processor speed is? You are running the mininum amount of memory, and if you don't at least have a 1GHZ processor, that may be why it is running a bit slow.
The more ram and processing power you have, the better the game will run.
Also, close any programs that may be running at the time you are playing your game. Run adware and spyware scanners to make sure they aren't bogging down your computer.
If you need more help, please feel free to ask! |

| First, you can check the front of your computer system to see what it says.
There is a little sticker that most likely says Intel Pentium or Athlon or something. Tell me everything it says on that sticker.
Also, go to Control Panel, open "System" and click "Properties" or "General."
This all depends on your operating system. What operating system are you running? (Windows XP, Windows 2000, etc.)
Do you know what kind of video card you have?
Thanks! |
