Game: Desktop Pets

I am trying to remember a game I used to have where you could have a cat or dog live on your desktop. If anyone knows what it is or a game like that, I'd really like to know. Thanks

i think i know what you mean. It was called cats and the other one was called dogs.
I remember seing this in GAME for about 2 pounds for both of them

There are about four versions with more upgrades on each one for your Cats or Dogs. You can have both live on your desktop if you as well, you just need to have both disks. But make sure that you have all of the system requirements for it won't work if you don't.
