Need an answer to a brain teaser

I got a brain teaser needing an answer, it's the following:

If you were the coach of a baseball team and there were 5'7" tall players and 5'5" short players and the coach was in the middle of the heights, how tall was the coach?

If you can answer this question, I would really appreciate it, thanks!

5'6" is what I thought, but someone said I was wrong, though.

I don't know how it could be wrong, unless you get into the "less than an inch" measurements.

You're all wrong....the answer is 6'1" tall...The question says "If you were the coach...", since I'm the coach, and I'm 6'1" tall, that's my answer....How tall are you? As far as in the middle of the heights...I have 5'6" players to my left and 5'7" players to my right...I'm in the middle of the heights.
