I don't know what the legality is BUT my neighbor's son plays on Pokerstars. He won a big screen TV. Either the IRS or FBI then contacted him. I truly don't know which it was.

At the end of the day, most online casinos have similar systems and odds. And there's a limited quantity of online casino games out there that you can do with only so much variation.
So at the end of the day for me it's in the customer service and in the graphics. My personal favorite is this online casino from Greece - sweet graphics and even sweeter customer service reps.

To answer the question unequivocally, for Americans, online gambling IS illegal. Read the act here.

You didn't ask about that, though. Personally, I spread my losses amongst Judy's neighbors, favorite, Poker Stars and Full Tilt Poker. The only way to distinguish between them, however, is their graphics and customer service.
