Got dresser drawer out to remove items that were preventing it from closing all the way. Now can't get drawer BACK IN. there is a small round peg on either side that if I could make it mash up ward toward the drawer above I think it would go back in but can't make that happen. Any suggestions?

Small pegs on the top of both sides, at the back?
Those would be 'stops' that keep the drawer from falling out when someone opens it.
You get the drawer back in by angling it steeply, front up, getting the pegs in first.
