    Ask question about antique tables
I have an antique table with what looks like a wood carved ferret on the bottom of it. Someone told me it was a dog table, but all dog tables I have pulled up on the internet has a marble top. This table does not have a marble top. It does not look like it has ever had a marble topp because this tables wood has all aged the same. It was in a house for over 65 years, It is all wood. The table is sort of oval with the 4 legs and a small flat spot between the 4 legs with this carved animal lying on it. Can someone help me with what type of table this please?

    Hi, grantsninnie!

Would it be possible for you to post an image of the table here? Also, just because there isn't evidence that it had a marble top, doesn't mean that there wasn't one on it.

    Thanks!
