Music Recording Studio Software Needed

Hello All,
I also need a music recording studio type of software so that I could make my own recordings at home. I would like to be able to play a couple of guitars and one or two singers. Just wondering if anyone knows of anything that will helps.

Hey, while we're at it, is there a free software that you can play your music into and it scores it for you? I could really use the help, Yal. Thanks so much! Sparky

Do you already have hardware to connect the input from the guitars and singers into the computer, if so what type.

Hello Chuck,
I went to Best Buy and bought a microphone and a couple of splitter jacks that allow me to have one microphone or two. I do not know what to get in order to get my guitar into puter, but use the mic. I did get on jack that splits so I could plug in electric guitar...but when thought out, that won't work (no power, software, etc.). I have never done this before, so I guess I am just looking for answers. Thanks, Sparky
