Download to GIMP?

My computer lets me download it but when i go to run it a window pops up

The setup files are corrupt. Please obtain a new copy of the program

and i have tried to download it diffrent wways and still not working? please help!

I was using Firefox, if you are using Internet Explorer check for a blinking yellow bar at the top of the webpage, you'll have to allow the download from there.

okay it let me download it and i try to run it but then a small little window pops up still saying

"the setup files are corrupt. Please obtain a new copy of the program"

Does the installation download completely? If so then uninstall the current installation Gimp first.

Just to be certain: you have Windows and you are downloading the Windows installation file, right?

yeah it says the download is complete and askes me if i was to run it.

Don't run after download. Just save it to your Desktop. Uninstall the previous install of GIMP.
