CCleaner Updates: Do I need it?

I have installed CCleaner software on my computer for a while now and it's working perfectly fine. It helps a lot to get rid of issues in the registry and also to clean my computer. However, I was asked whether I would like to download the latest updates for CCleaner and, since everything is working fine, I did not want to change anything. Do you think it's a good idea to use what I've got now, knowing that it is safe, or should I download the updates. By the way I'm using Vista. Could anyone advise me as to whether I should or should not download the updates. The only reason I did not download is simply because I'm comfortable and feel safe with what I have got now. I fear that if I change the software it may not work or perform better. Please advise.

Thank you.

Christian

I have CC Cleaner and run the updates and it continues to perform smoothly. Am impressed with that program.

I just downloaded their update a few days ago and my system works just fine like it did before. I like this program but I have other similar programs also that I run.

Yes, I started using it after Biggsie or one of the people recommended it, I do the updates and find it works great.
