Where to put Profile info?

I'm BRAND NEW here, Q: So how come after I click on MY PROFILE, I don't find a place to type in my profile???? I've tried several ways... -0- of which were successful. Am I just 'dumber than dirt' or ????

The various Profile settings, and fields to enter info, are the links to the left in My Profile - under "Settings and Options". Check those out. Does that answer your question?
