Unread posts being marked read

Hello

After I click on a bolded, unread topic, do my thing there, I will usually go back to the previous page by clicking under the search area where it says I am. For example, right now it says: Home>Forum Community>Forum Help>>Ask a New Question.

I would normally click on "Forum Help" to go back to where I was.

When I do this, all the posts that were once bold and unread turn to normal, read posts. Is there a way I can fix this? It's starting to get annoying ><

Thanks much!
