Spell Check will not complete a check

When I type a response to someones question and I want to check the spelling I click the spell chick button and it goes through the motion of checking my response but then it says it is done without even putting my response up on the spell check board.

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so what did they do to change it.

I like to use the ieSpell that's available also here. I think that you have to download it, if I remember correctly. It's the ABC with the check mark in the upper right hand part of the answer boxes.

Have never had a problem with it, even when people aren't able to use the Spell Check at the bottom of the answer box as a result of the site upgrade.

I've been having issues with the Spell Check at the bottom of the answer box ever since I joined the site.

Has anything been determined about the spell check? It is sure an easy way to spell check I would hate to see it go away completely.

Hi, letmetellu!

Did you try the other spell check that I suggested? I like it a lot more than the other one. I never like to use the other one since downloading ieSpell. It seems to also catch things that the other one didn't.

I don't know that the conventional one will "go away". That would be something that would be determined by Administration. If it does become functional again and is improved, that would certainly be a blessing!

Thanks!
