Help Please,
I've posted around 6-7 posts as a recent new member. All of a sudden this evening all my answers and my one question are gone and there is a message at the top of the page that states "Our records indicate that you have never asked (or answered) a question on our site."
Help! How do I get restored?
Thanks, jenny lynn
Unfortunately, your "questions" will not be restored. Had you read the TOS you would have read that advertising of one's business or services is strictly prohibited at AMHD. All of your posts have been considered advertising and have been removed.
If you wish to post a link to your site in your signature line, that is fine, but to advertise your site in answer to a member's question is against the rules of AHMD.
Yes I deleted all of them. You were actually reported after your second post, for advertising, but giving you the benifit of the doubt I put your posts on my watch list. ** and honestly did not get around to checking on them to tonight.
after review it was obvoious each and every post was sending everyone to the one same web site. and it was or gave the appearance that it was advertising.
You are allowed to have a link to your web site in your sig line, many of us do,
You posted this prior to my sending you a PM informing you, but I beleive J9 has sent such notice.
I. Posting Rules
Ask Me Help Desk insists that members abide by the rules and policies detailed below:
1. Post only questions or answers to questions. Miscellaneous statements and general conversations belong in the Member Discussions board.
2. Use the best English you are capable of. "Chat speak", all caps, lack of punctuation, etc. can be annoying, and will frequently result in the post being either unanswered or removed.
3. Use a meaningful, specific title for your question.
4. Do not disparage any member publicly on the forums. If you state that you disagree with the answer of another member, please explain why politely.
5. Do not post any comments that are obscene, vulgar, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
6. Do not post content that is significantly equivalent to content found elsewhere on the internet if it can be linked to.
7. Do not post copyrighted content unless you are the copyright owner.
8. Do not misrepresent yourself.
9. Do not use multiple usernames.
10. Do not advertise or spam. You are welcome to include information and links in your signature to a reasonable extent, but do not refer or link to your products or services in the body of posts.
11. Do not quote a previous post unless your post would be confusing otherwise.
Any communication or material you post or transmit to the Site is and will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. You assume full responsibility for anything you post or transmit, and you grant Ask Me Help Desk and its affiliates the right to edit, copy, publish and distribute any information or content you post or transmit for any purpose.
