Losing posts - a useful fix

There has been some discussion that when composing large posts to compose in some sort of editor.

Not sure why, but sometimes the forum takes a long time to post and/or my tethered cell connection drops.

This is a solution that I have found to work. If it seems to take to long in "Posting quick reply", navigate to the text box and then co a "select all" and ^C (or copy). You have now saved your post. You can then re-post it or if the problem is severe, copy it into an editor. Save and post later.

Hope this helps someone.

Good tip there.
I must admit if I'm going to post something long and involved I like to compose my thoughts in notepad and copy the text from there.

This also helps to stop the post rambling off into the sunset and keeps it more focused. You can read it all through before posting.
