Tips for Asking Questions on AskMeHelpDesk.com

Here are a couple of pointers to make sure you get the answer you need as quickly as possible.

1. Be As Specific As Possible - tell the experts exactly what you are looking for in an Answer. Many times users post broad and open-ended questions and often don’t receive answers they were expecting. Be as specific as possible and explain exactly what you are seeking in the Answer.
2. Use a Very Descriptive Title - our experts find questions by searching and browsing AskMeHelpDesk. Make sure your Question Title is very detailed, contains keywords and phrases that specifically describe your question. Your title should summarize your question on one sentence. The body of your question should contain the details of your question.
3. Post your Question in the Appropriate Category - to ensure your question is seen by experts who cover your category, make sure you have properly categorized your question.

If you do not receive responses to your Question within a few hours, we recommend reviewing your question and posting additional information. Often times unanswered questions usually means not enough details were included in your original post or experts simply do not know what you are looking to get answered. So consider adding additional information if your open question goes for several hours without a response.

If you still have questions, please post to our Forum Help Board.
