No.Bruce did not have a testimonial,after leaving Man Utd.Birmingham gave him a "fat" sign-on fee,to componsate for that,of £1 million,plus a large salary.He joined Birmingham in the summer of 1996 after skippering the United 'double double' team. He returned to Birmingham as manager after a short spell as player-manager with Sheffield United followed by an acrimonious split with Crystal Palace.
