Football Crossword Puzzle Contest

HELP! My son's school is having a football contest this week. He needs to answer a crossword puzzle about football correctly to win prizes.

1. players who catch the ball -- 13 letters, 8th letter is an E

2. two players defend the same opposing player -- 14 letters, 14th letter is an E

Can anybody help mama?
