I'm here to advise you on anything wine and other drink related.

I have 10 years experience in the UK wine trade and I have studied to WSET Diploma level. Basically a degree level course in wine.
I have traveled extensively in Europe and to Wine Australia.
I have a passion for Scottish Malt Whisky and quality beer.

I have tried various examples of all the worlds great wines and have met a number of their makers.
I have an underground, personal cellar with some of the greatest vintages and estates ever made.

Feel free to ask me anything you want to know.
My advice is based on my personal experience.

What kind of wine would be good to serve with pasta with tomato sauce, veggies, and garlic bread? My friend is coming over for to have a double dinner date with her new boyfriend and I said I'd make dinner and we would have some wine. I know absolutely NOTHING about wines, but I hate the bitter ones. Thanks for the help!

I went with some friends to Palmers Vineyard in Long Island. I must admit that I am not a wine connoisseur but I tasted a few of the wines and I thought they were terrible. I like a smooth taste but there was an after taste in all the wines I tasted. I love Merlot and have had several varieties but Palmers was just not up to par. After a while, I didn't want to try anything else. Have you ever had New York State wines, and would you recommend any?
