Will red wine ruin in 8o degree home?

I have a wine rack with about 12 red wines, mostly pinot noir. I live in Southern California, hot in the summer, during working hours, I do not turn on the air conditioner. The home gets about 80 degrees. Is my wine ok? Am I better off putting it in the refrigerator?

curlybenswife Food & Drink Expert Join Date: Jan 2006 Posts: 2,462	The fluctuation of tempreture will certainly do it more harm than good, do you have a cellar or a place under the stairs where the temp is more even???
