i am crazy for junk foods

I found that I am craving junk foods, fast foods in these days. I know they are not good for health, body shape. But now I am crazy for them. Every day what I want to eat are junk foods. What to do?

I used to be in love with eating junk foods! But, after forcing myself to eat food that was more nutritious and healthy, I have found that I have much less desire to eat the junk food. Mostly, because it does not taste as good to me anymore. It is a matter of self-discipline that needs to happen in order to get out of the urge to eat junk food. That is my opinion anyway, based upon my experience. Maybe someone else will come along and share what their experience has been with trying to stop eating junk food. I hope that they do come along.

Are you overweight at all?

How about making small changes to get your self weaned off the junk, Instead of a burger make a big old Turkey, Chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, sprouts etc., low fat or omega low fat mayo, Fries is a hard one to substitute but you can bake some potatoe wedges that you've seasoned with a little olive oil, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic or onion powder, etc. cover them with some mozarella cheese. Now to sub for the chips try banana chips, a handful or nuts or seeds. Try frozen yogurt and put nuts or wheat germ on it. Cut up some fruit and nibble on that. It takes alot of patience and work and dedication to try and get off the junk, but if you go about it slowly and make small changes you won't miss the junk a badly as you might think.

The more protein you eat the less you will crave junk food especially sweets.
Craving sweets is a sign of lack of protein. Also eat more veggies that helps curb it too.
The more you eat sweets and junk food the more it makes you crave it. So the more you change your eating habits over time your cravings will decrease.

What clough says is the word, it takes some self discipline, but anyone can change, all of us have been there, I was a burger king freak in high school and now look at me, 4 kids, (from ages 21-33), born after I was 21,.... 9 grand kids later, from the ages of 2-16 year old, and I have no health problems, take no prescriptions, drugs, life is good, and I feel great, it's all good food, correct portions exercise, I still cheat, but it's ok. it does pay off!
