| Ah, I was on a two week long course without internet access! It was a nice break to be honest! Lol! Back at work now though! Boooo! Although, saying that I've got 2 weeks holiday starting on Thursday with V Festival this weekend! Woohooo!
My parent's weren't the richest when I was a kid, and I used to love what my Mum called 'Dippy Bread' ... this involved frying bacon for a sandwich for my Dad then soaking up the fat and cooking oil on more bread and feeding it to me and my brother!
Now that may sound harsh, but it was LOVELY! Actually, I might have a crack at it this weekend! |

| Yeah, when I've explained it to people before they've likened it to eggy bread ... but that's with eggs and not bacon! Ha ha! |

| Sounds more like one of my faves.
Fried Slice, but without the frying.
Do your bacon then soak up the fat with bread and fry it till golden brown.
Works best with thick cut white bread. |
