    Ankle weights? Good or Bad?
    Hey guys, I was wondering if ankle weights help your verticle... some people say its good and some people say its bad... so I'm kind of confused...

    They are bad on the knees and chins if you use them on asphalt or concrete or any hard surface. If you can use them at the beach or park. or any softer surface ankle weights are a plus

    Anything is bad if you overdo it but I've heard a weight belt is better than ankle weights because it doesn't kill your knees and you may also want to try working out in the water (like the pool or something) I've heard that also helps

    It would be better to use a weight vest or belt because u want extra resistance as your pushing off in your jump, not when your already in the air. Ankle weights can't do that for u.
