I found these in my son's laundry

Is anyone familiar with Rhino Research Chemicals? I found some pills that my son had with epiMASS on the front. I would like to know what it is and if they are legal or not. Thanks

It is probably a legal prescription drug--but not having a prescription for it -if it isn't OTC -is a different story.

Those are Anabolic Steroids. I would call my local doctor and ask him/her about this. If this is a prescription only drug and there is no prescription, that is a misdemeanor. If this is an illegal drug, the situation changes.
What are the legal consequence for using steroids?

Bodybuilding.com - Armor Nutrition Epi-Mass - Aromatase Inhibitor On sale now!

From what I could find it looks like the company makes hair loss pills like Rogaine, anabolic steroids, a viagra type pill and appetite suppressants.

I love the way people are so quick to jump the gun on steroid use... What you found in your son's pocket is NOT a steroid... it is an aromatase inhibitor. People should understand what an aromatase is before answering this question...

Basic body chemistry lesson here: When the male body produces too much testosterone (natural), or receives it through injection (synthetic), the body will turn itself into a defense mode to balance itself out.

This means the male body will actual convert that extra testosterone in estrogen. Men DO NOT WANT estrogen! That estrogen will then bind itself to androgen receptors, which causes a few side effects, such as water retention, fat accumalation, and more seriously, gynocomastia (growth of breast tissue).

This inhibitor you found will prevent that conversion from happening. So in essence, you DID NOT FIND a steroid in your son's laundry, but chances are, if you found an inhibitor, then he is taking one or more testosterone-based steroids. I would be quick to start looking else where for the "real goods".

I have taken a few inhibitors myself over the years because of all the steroid cycles I have done. I have used Arimidex, and Nolvadex (tamoxifen citrate). As NOhelp4u stated, these are NOT LEGAL without a perscription. So chances are, your son has purchased these from a dealer at his local gym, or some underground online source...

I hope this helps.

Lowtax4eva disagrees: okay but you have to assume if the parent is asking that the son is still a teenager and should not be deciding to use testosrerone injections or these pills.

Wow! There are a lot of uneducated people on here answering questions. The item you found is not a steroid. It is a pro hormone. Companies make these products to be as close to a steroid as legally possible.
They change the location of the Carbon atom to make it a legal supplement versus an illegal steroid. You can buy these supplements in GNC or online. They have many different names but the active ingredients are similar.
If your son is still growing, he should not be using this product as there are still steroid
like side effects that can occur (such as stunted growth). Most of the time pro hormones are a waste of money and a good diet and exercise program will give your son the desired results. They make a lot of money by hyping their products as being as powerful as steroids without the side effects. Normally they just cause water retention to give the appearance of gaining weight/muscle. These gains will be lost once use is discontinued. Good Luck

This is exactly right. Learn to read people. Pro anabolic is another term for Pro Hormone. This product can be purchased over the counter(OTC). IT is dangerous that some of you offer advice and answers while not having any idea what you are talking about.
