I am just curious in the process of fat to muscle. I've read o many different things about it i'm not to sure. Does your fat turn into muscle? How does this process work and whats the best way to acieve weight loss?? and not gain a whole lot of muscle?

Hi Dawn...and welcome to the site. I am not going to recommend any ways to achieve weight loss or gain muscle because I am sure that there are people here with far more expertise in that area. I will say though, that your fat does not "turn into" muscle. You lose fat when you excercise through cardio and strength training and then your muscles build up. When you strength train you are creating small tears in your the cells that make up your muscles. When these cells repair themselves they increase in size, thereby increasing your strength. I hope this helps!

From what I know of...when you build muscle and gain muscle tone your metabolism revves up and burns more calories than just doing cardio alone. What happens is you start to loose the fat and in place build up lean muscle.
But no muscle and fat are completely different and one cant turn into another. . I would check with a personal trainer to get all the exact facts. This is the information that Iv always known.
