This can be short and sweet, BAD: fast foods, fried foods, sweets, like candy, cakes, cookies. High sodium like chips, High fuctose corn syrup like soda, and presweetened drinks,, fatty foods, anything with transfat and processed foods. Good foods: Whole grains like wheat, bread, rice, pasta, cereal. Fruits and veggies. Dairy products like skim milk or 1-2%, spreads instead of butter or margarines, low fat, skim or part skim cheese 2-3 servings per day. Canola oil or olive oil to Bake, or broil lean meats, like skinless chicken, turkey breast, loin type meats or fish. Nuts, seed or beans, lentil and legumes. Most important thing is reading nutritional labels and sticking to 1 portion/serving size, like with meat, it's about 3 oz. Drinks lots of water, and 100% fruit juices. Smaller portions, more veggies and fruits, leaner meats. And lastley you have to exercise, 4-5 X a week, 30-60 minutes, aerobics, weight/resistance training, swimming, jogging, walking, just move and train the entire body> Hows that for just a starter!

lovelesspa disagrees: Any diet that promotes only one food group is not healthy for overall nutrition
