FireFox - What's up with this?

I have been using FireFox as my default browser for quite some time, but all of a sudden it stopped working. I can only use the browser if I use the safe mode (it's built into FF). I have tried unistalling & reinstalling, but that does nothing to help. Has anyone else experienced this problem & if so what do I need to do to correct the problem

Dale

I have found that sometiimes this could be caused by an extension malfunction.
For example using two tab extensions, etc.

Have you tried opening FF and removing all your extensions/themes and reinstalling them as needed.

Thank you for the speedy response. No I have not tried deleting any extensions (I guess you mean add ons), but if you can tell me how to do it I will give it a try. Thanks again.

Click on "Tools/Extentions" then uninstall them one at a time. Then restart FF. Should work

Thank you Jon! Now I can run FF as it was meant to be ran. I can't thank you enough. I will now consider you "my very own" computer GURU.

So you know..I look at new Firefox extensions everyday - there are so many out there that are so cool and handy. I recommend: Scrapbook, Tab Mix Plus, and foXpose.

Click on Tools/Extensions/ then "Get More Extensions" and look at the "new" and popular".

Thank you Jon. I just downloaded the extensions you suggested as I don't think you would give me any bad advise. I mean after all you are my new Guru, that & the fact that us "golden oldies" must stick together.
