| | | What are people qualified I don't know if people have posted this but I would like for people to post what they are qualified. This could roll out who is right and who is wrong. So many people add answers to people’s questions with no faked or any education on the matter that is in question. Doing this would help myself and others direct people to the right answers. I will admit that I have added a few answers to people’s questions, but still people think I am wrong, so list to get to the bottom line. So if all people that are interest please post what you are qualified and post it. So people can refer to it and lead that person that is questioning in the right direction.
My self, for example...
I have been in the military for 12 years strong and still going. I know what it is like to take a life and save it. I work hard to help people get physically fit to stay in and loss weight. I have been is several relationships that I could mention “what a guy should and should not do”. I have also done allot of construction work to make a young man cry.
This is only a few that I plane to passing on to others to help them strive for a better life and future for them self’s and for this web site.
So for all that can add please add your qualifications to better serve people that are asking questions. Thank you | | | | | | |

| Scottish--that's what profiles are for.
Most people with qualifications besides the school of life also list it in their signatures.
If you're wondering how qualified someone is to give an answer, check their profile. If their profile is blank, feel free to ask them to give their qualifications in the specific thread you're wondering about. |

| You have a good point. So often when somebody new showed up in dogs and posted an answer I knew was wrong, I checked their profile and it listed nothing. It is amazing how many people that think mere ownership of a dog qualifies them to advise others. There is a large body of well proven good practices completely unknown to many. I am so tired of those with no knowledge of them answering questions, that I am spending very little time here. I am sure many other good people have left AMHD for the same reason.
I would at least wait until you have several answers before following any advice here. In home and garden we have a number of highly qualified experts whose advice is excellent. Wait for one of them to answer. |

| I google questions alot...and often land on this site and sites like this. It's clear that all of them allow anyone to post.
It definately does help to see more about the answerers expertise and knowledge on the subject.
All of them have good, mediochre and bad answers. This one's better than most by far.
I'd call allexperts a fairly close 2nd |
