| | | Filters on "New Posts" Is there a way to enhance the "New Posts" feature in a way that you can set filters on certain subforums and have posts from those forums not display in "New Posts"?
For example, i'm not interested in "Spirituality", "Relationships", "Plumbing", "Introductions" and some other forums, and would like to set a filter on those forums so i don't get posts from those forums listed when i press "New Posts". | | | | | | |

| I have. I just set what forums i wanted to search, and saved my configuration, then went ahead to click "New Posts" and nothing changed. I still get the posts from "unwanted" subforums. |

| If you find something please post it. As traffic grows, I spend more time scrolling down through stuff I am not interested in or even find disgusting. Still, I find things I can help with in many different forums. |

| I will post if i find any info.
Though, I'm hoping for an admin to let us all know in this thread what can be done. |

| New Posts Hi,
I remember the discussion that was held on this some time before; but can't find it now!
One way, for now, is just go to the Home Page, then click on the category you are interested in, and it will show which have been posted to "Today", etc.
I agree with the New Posts showing all categories. Should be some way to have a filter, associated with your ID when you sign in, showing only those categories you have set it to. But, we do what we can, for now.
Happpy New Year. |

| FYI, here is the vBulletin Online Manual: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/
It's got the details of the tons o' tweaks available at the Admin cPanel.
Knowing what's available - then suggesting a good tweak - is an effective way to suggest things to Admin |
