Maybe a pet bereavement section

could be helpful for some people whos loss of a pet is effecting their life or maybe they just need a little support to get through it.
I know I could benefit from something like that right about now and there is almost nothing online that you don't have to pay for on this topic.
It just wouldn't feel right posting what I'm going through in any other section at AMHD
and maybe other people have felt the same way but didn't have anywhere to go for it.

I think that's an excellent idea... I see my pets as part of the family... and it breaks my heart to see my beautiful perfect dog get older.. she's 12 now and I just can't imagine what it's going to be like when she dies..

im sorry for your loss.. i hope i could be of more help considering im not going through the pain in this moment..But just know that your pet is in a better place..

I don't know anything about why you are posting - but you are absolutely right and there is certainly a need for something like this.
