I have dark brown hair with blonde highlights growing out and little gray on top. The highlights quit hiding gray so I stopped getting them. I'm afraid to dye my own hair, I dyed it light ash brown once and it turned red!

Anyways, I was thinking about trying semi-permanent hair dye. Will this make my hair all one color, and what color should I use?
