straight legged jeans

So, i bought a pair thinking that they were just normal jeans and i hate straight legged jeans. and i didnt notice they were until AFTER i threw away the reciept and washed them. is there anything i can do to make them look like normal jeans? any way to stretch the bottoms out or would it work if i cut upward on them or anything at all?

Straight legged jeans are very IN right now. If you like the style of tucking the jeans into boots, they could be your "boot jeans". It's a very cute style. If you don't like that, you could always turn them into capris or shorts.

Also. You can cut a slit into the side of the pant legs and add a bit more (triangle shaped) material of your choosing there to make them flared. You can make them match a favorite blouse or other clothing staple this way.

When I got thrift shopping, I rarely buy anything that I will wear as is, I buy cheap things and alter them to my liking, so if I mess up I didn't waste too much money. It's fun!

Hope this helps!
