Wife's rights on a property

My husband just bought a home and he did not put my name on the property--do I still have rights on the property? If he asks me to leave in the future--do I have any rights to say to sell the property and divide the profit? I do not work and do not plan on working.

What country do you live in....and what state.

Did he buy this BEFORE the marriage...there are a lot of things we would need to know before an answer could be determined.

Any question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

However, if you name is not on the property as an owner, you have no right to sell it. Whether you have any right to the property at all depends on the laws on marital property in your area.
