evicting 18 yr old daughter new york

I live in New York. My daughter is irresponsible---no job and not looking. Can I give her a time frame to get a job and pay rent? How long do I have to wait to evict her.

You can't evict someone who doesn't pay rent. Sure you can tell her to get it together or get out. She is an adult now and you won't have to worry about child neglect issues.
