Evict her from the house. Take away any and everything she has that you pay for. NO phone, no internet, no closet full of clothes and so on. She follows instructions, she gets to use things, if no, she don't

Absolutely - tough love and that includes telling her it's time to find her own way in life.

What did you do when she quit school?

I was that 18 yr old. My parents yelled and nagged and nothing got to me until they told me I had to shape up or ship out. I didn't believe them until I came home after a long weekend out partying with friends to find everything I owned nicely packed in boxes and my bedroom converted into a home gym. They let me 'rent' the garage for 30 days in exchange for housework (I wasn't allowed to use the house at all for anything... there was a bathroom in the garage) and had to move into my own place at the end of the month. I learned about responsibility REALLY fast. In my opinion, I turned out OK! Good job, nice house, amazing daughter. I could have gone both ways I suppose, but I appreciate my parents making me take responsibility for my actions. In the long run, she will learn to accept that her actions can have serious side effects. Stick with it. When you make a threat, follow through. She will no doubt test you.
