| step parent with birth father Does anyone know the New Hampshire family law? My question is if a step parent had a child abuse case 10 years ago on them, but has done counseling and parenting classes and anger managment to better herself and has had no other case agenst her does that make the father in the eyes of NH law uncapable of being a parent? Would this prevent him from getting his son? the choice right now are father or adoption mother cannot get childeren back as she has made no effert to change the home conditions or visit the child.
By the way step mom did not abuse her child she had to preent to the state of Vermont that way to get the help she wantd the state said they could not help her until she hurt her child and had proof of it. a catch 22 if you know what I mean. anyone with any answers please help. we are running out of time.
all involved in the case: judge, CASA, DCYF, MOTHER all want father and stepmother to have child but the question is would it make the father capable or not. the judge is reachering the NH law o this so our ruling of the BILL F hearing in pending and we are going nuts wating. |
