    Signing over parental rights
My ex had a baby 8 years ago she said I was my daughter she has been hiding ever since the courts in California named me the father in 1999 by default judgment well I found her on my space and saw some pics and now I am even more convinced that I'm not the father so I asked her for a dna test and she said hell no all I want from you is to sign over your parental rights and be out of her life for ever. Can this be done if I agree to it because I was told there had to be someone to adopt her for this to take place

Signing over the "rights" still leave you liable to pay child support, so if you want to pay for the next 18 years with no righs go ahead. The only way you won't have to pay child support is if there is someone to adopt.

But what you need to do is file in court for a DNA test, you need to also if she is your child file in court for her to be in contemtp for hiding the child from you if you are the father.
