I have been Power-of-Attorney for my mother for over nine months. I have driven to social services, had her taxes done, held estate and yard sales, taken care of the dog and bird, over-hauled her home to get it ready for sale.

The list goes on, I do not mind helping my mother at all but it has become a full time job.
What compensation if any goes with the power-of-attorney. Someone mentioned a reimbursement on mileage. What is the rate and is this true? What about handling all of the home/tax affairs?
