    Power of attorney
    If I'm the power of attorney for my mother due to her illness can I file bankruptcy for her under my social security number for her.

    Nope. But you can file for her under HER social security number.

    Is the POA general or specific for medical??

    You would have to file and bankruptcy under her number.

    Actually I would think you would file it under her own social security number.
