Too Late for a DNA test?

I was married to my ex wife 17 years ago, she got pregnant and then I found out that she was with another man. In the divorce decree it stated that there was a minor child born during our marriage but that the child was NOT mine. I have come into some money and now she is requesting back support. 17 years ago, I requested a test to see if the baby was mine, she refused the test and demanded that I release my parental rights. I assumed because she did not want the test that she knew the baby was not mine and therefore I released my parental rights. She has never come after me for money til now, there is no support order. Can I request a DNA now and am I obligated to pay past child support. I have never had a relationship with this child.

It can depend on the state, in some states in the US, if you do not contest within a certain amount of years, then you can't.
But in most US states you can contest anytime you find a reason to suspect.

Hello ouch:

The Padre is right.

I'll only add that you can't have too many children. I know you haven't had a relationship, but that was then........ and this is now.
