Mother not looking out for best interest of child

-------------------------------------------------------------------------- California. My daughter is 4 years old and i currently get visitation. Her birth was consisted from a one night encounter. I currently have 3 days a week for 2 hours, my time will soon increase to 20%.Everytime I drop my daughter off or pick her up, her mother starts disputing and calling me names in front of our daughter calling me a deadbeat dad. She tells my daughter that she can not eat at my house. Her mother does not allow her to eat any meat, this worries me as she is only 4. The mother has been rapped when she was a child and had and was anerexic in the past. I feel that her mother is not normal. My daughter tells me on her own that her mom does not like me and does not like her coming over. My daughter cries everytime i have to drop her off at her moms house, my daughter tells me that her mom is mean to her. I just found out that my daughters grandma (the mothers mother) spends more time with our daughter then her actual mother, i feel that i should get more time with her instead of her Grandma getting her for 4 days at a time. It is against our court order to dispute in front of our child when her mother does not care and lashes out at me. She is jealous because i am married and have another daughter with my wife. This is curropting my daughters mind. She is also refusing to give me our daughters daycare information which is also against the court order. I want her to stop disputing in front of our daughter, what is the first step? Advice?

Go to Court and request a very specific Order that you pick you daughter up from a third party and return her to a third party to avoid these confrontations. You cannot control what the mother and her family say when you are not present.

If she is in violation of the Court Order, take him back to that same Court for violating the order.

Lots of kids are vegetarians, being raised by vegetarian parents. I don't know that this is a problem unless she has weight or other problems.

I do notice you've posted the pick up/drop off information before and you received advice at that time - continuing to post the same question will not get you different legal advice. http://www.askmehelpdesk.com/family-...ml#post1970898

If you want your child support amount to be reduced (http://www.askmehelpdesk.com/family-...ml#post1969774) you have to go back to Court, prove changed circumstances and request a reduction. You can't simply stop paying OR pay a lessor amount.

I would contact a lawyer. Also I agree with Judy about the 3rd party drop off pick up, that would at least keep the disputes down. Good luck.
