Free room & Board for nurse

In South carolina what is the law should we allow a nurse to live rent free with an elderly family member and that family member should die while this person is living in the home. Can we ask them to move out immediately?

You most likely would have to evict them if they became a squatter. She was paying rent by way of earning it. Another thing to consider is that its a difficult time for everyone so maybe help them to move them along and try to be kind. Maybe offer a bonus for them so they can find a place quicker. Taking care of the sick and dieing is no easy job so give them a break if you can.
