You are required to pay child support to a biological child until the child reached age 18 or age 21 if a full time student.

It depends on the age of majority in your particular State and also ends when the child becomes emancipated if under the age of majority.

Generally this is dictated in the support agreement. Its usually 18 or until the child finishes school.

also if you have a special needs child it can continue until the child is much older it depends on what a judge says.

So basicly you have to pay child support for as long as the child support order that the court issues says you do.
