How do I evict a family member under Texas law?
I have a 19 year old daughter that has been in and out of serious trouble. Currently on probation for stealing. She pays no rent, she throws a fit if asked to do chores, has tapped into my bank card (which I've changed and keep under lock) and she creates problems with the rest of the family and expects everything for nothing.

What, if any, legal steps in Texas are needed to get her out of my house?

You have to give 3 days written notice to vacate prior to filing of suit
8-10 days to serve the citation- The law requires the defendant have six days notice before the hearing.
If they appeal or do not leave
5 days to appeal the suit following the hearing required by law.
2 days- The Constable is required by law to post a 24 hour vacate notice on the Writ of Possession
