How can I get visitation with my grandchild?
My son raised and Nurtured Anestasia while the mother worked and went to school. When she came home at night she was too tired to deal with the baby, I was there and one time she ignored the little baby toddling over to her in the kitchen with arms upstretched for some love and she was too busy talking about her day at work BEBE's and getting something to eat, it was heartbreaking. Finally she would pick her up, only to set her down right away cause her dinner was ready.
Over a year ago she moved to California leaving the babe now 3.5 yrs old in Arizona with my son. Generously, he let her have Anestasia for visitation a couple of weeks ago, and she kept her, filed for custody and a state restraining order!:?! My son is devastated, and since I had flown to Az. In Feb. to pick up my grandchild for a visit, and turned her over to the mom, with the mom, who is an avid lier, said she would return her in a couple of days, never did.
Now, do I go to the court or judge to ask for an immediate visit with Anestasia, to let her know that her Daddy and I still love her? The mom will not let my son talk to her, this is the longest he has ever been with out "Daddy's little girl." Then do I get forms, (are there helping websites?) to petition for regular visits?
    Thanks
    Gina

Your son needs to fight the custody order. Your son should have filed for formal custody when she left for CA. Then she wouldn't have been able to just grab custody like she did. But you have little or no standing. Your son has be the driving force.

Agree with Scott, the first person who needs to fight for their rights is your son.

Some states will allow for Grandparents rights ( to incude visits) so you can also check with an attorney to see if the state the child lives in, does reconise this. If they do, you can take them to court to allow your visits.

But again, your son needs to step up and do his part also
