    Garnish retirement for child support

    Can my husbands retirement account be garnish by child support?

    It depends on the source of the retirement funds and the agency ordering support, but its possible.

    As FrChuck said, yes, it's entirely possible - child support is one of the exceptions to garnishment laws in most - if not all - States.
