Well, the ex wife and him got back together and they denied me. He owned his own company and he had money, so when it came down to getting a blood test, Mom tried, but my dad's brother told mom that he had told him that he paid the people off to say that I wasn't his. Even though behind his wifes back he still brought gifts to me for my bday until I was 6. He knew the truth, but hid from it. Now there is no way that I can have anything done because I am 21 and the court system already has a test saying that I am not his.

It is very frustrating not knowing the truth. I, like you, don't want money, I just want answers and to feel like I know the truth and have some kind of relationship with him and my other siblings. I wish the best for you! Please keep me posted if there is anything to do!

I am sure this is what you were told and I have no idea why but it is virtually impossible to "buy people off" where DNA testing is involved. He'd have to "buy off" the whole lab because you receive a detailed report.

Lots of people own their own companies, have money, and this doesn't happen.

At any rate - have you contacted him and asked him to submit to DNA testing? You can also test any one of his relatives. His brother, your uncle, appears cooperative - ask him to be tested.

I agree with Judy. The likelihood that someone falsified DNA results is very small. But, it does give you grounds for suing the lab. Especially if your alleged father's brother will testify, you may be able to force the lab to retest.

Another example where the OP didn't like the answer and so removed or erased (or something) the original post -

This is why I paste the entire question.

Actually no, this was my doing, jessirich posted a response in another thread, that was a valid response. But since her response ALSO opened up an issue that should be dealt with I felt, rather than have two separate issues being dealt with in the same thread I wanted a separate thread for jessirich's issue. However, we can't COPY a post only move it. So I moved your response to her and then linked to this thread in the original one.

I should have mentioned that in my response.

Sorry, Scott - didn't realize there was another post. I should have checked and usually do.

Again - sorry. And apologies to Jessirich, also.
