Father's Ashes !

I am a Minor, I am 15 years of age. My father passed away on July 3rd, 2003. My father, was cremated and my grandmother (his mother) has them. I suposed their must be some type of law for a mans own childen to have a part of him, he is the man who raised me and my 19 year old brother. Please help me for some way to get us our ashes, or what can i do? Thank you very much.

sorry for your loss, normally who ever is over his will or estate would decide where they go. I would wonder why your mother, his wife did not get them, ( divorced at the time??)
