Emmancipation in OH, 17.5 and graduated
I have reasearched this law as much as possible. I know that Ohio basically has no emmancipation law. But I also know that there are certain circumstances and I'm not sure if I understand it correctly but I think that if your at least 17.5 and graduated with a diploma and can financially support yourself then you can become emmancipated. But I also think you have to have some reason for want to become emmancipated such as physical abuse. Which I have all of these "circumstances" and I have a place to live until I get on my own feet but I'm not sure if the law is even true. So can someone help me.

This is the problem, you can not "have a place to live" till you get on your feet, you have to be able and have the money to move to your own place. Plus court will take over 6 months normally, so by the time you get to court it will be too late
