I dont know

Ok, this is hard. I live in Michigan and i signed off my parental rights to my ex and his wife adopted them. At that time I felt it was in their best interest and their father had me believing that it was in their best interest and he would change nothing, like visitation and stuff. It has been about 4 years since i have seen them. Before the 4 years i had them every weekend and every chance i got, then he decided he didnt want me seeing them anymore. They called me the other night crying that they wanted their mom and that their step mom was abusing them, I hear things from people that are close to them and they seemto belive that she is. They have had CPS there but everytime they go asking questions she gets out of it and makes it harder on the kids. Now I know that i have signed over parental rights, but is there anything that I can do to help them? I love those kids and it really hurts to hear that they are having a very hard time, is there anything I can do, can you reverse a mistake as big as signing everything away?

I don't think you can reverse it, but if she really is being abusive you can get the kids aken away from her. You said that the CPS wa out there talking to her, but maybe ask them to talk to the kids alone with out her, cause they are probably intimidated by her.

You can't reverse it....you should have been informed of all you were giving away when you decided to relinquish your parental rights. You no longer have any legal claim to those children.

Unfortunately, there is not much you can do.
